About the Velocity & HDR (High Definition Revoicer)
The Godin Velocity features a double cutaway body, comprised of a silver leaf maple center with poplar wings and a gorgeous natural, solid high-flame maple top, unique to each guitar. Powered by 2 Godin GS-1 single coil pickups as well as the beefy tone and high output of the SH-5 Duncan Custom humbucker by Seymour Duncan for serious crunch and an aggressive bite.
H.D.R. High-Definition Revoicer The H.D.R. revoices and augments the frequency range of each pickup and allows the player to go from passive to active pickups with the simple push of a button.
Th H.D.R. provides extra bite, dynamic response and redefines the character of each pickup. It’s like having 2 sets of pickups in 1 guitar for 5 pure passive tones + 5 pure active tones.

WARNING IF BUYING ONLINE
The trem settings that come out of the Godin factory on the SD and Velocity instruments is in my opinion - bizarre. Flat to the body and very heavily loaded with extra sprngs.
Every instrument we supply is perfectly setup prior to dispatch (as you should know by now!) and the trem will be set for a light touch/fingertip operation with enough trem angle for raising in pitch as well as lowering the pitch.
I LOVE Godin guitars but have to totally disagree with the way they supply these guitars. However, whilst our customers are ensured we will provide the guitar as how most players would like, if you order from an alternative source I will be surprised if you are happy with how the guitar plays from the box.

When you buy a guitar from Richards guitars the first thing to take into account is that I (Richard) overseas the entire process beginning to end. The only aspect not handled by myself is the setup itself. I even personally pack the guitar after I have tested the guitar post setup.

6 Month & 12 Month Checkup/Reset (worth £25 a visit)
Every day my workshop is responsible for checking guitars that have been brought back for their 6 and 12 month checks. During this process my technicians will check the setup, make any adjustments necessary and give the guitar a general overhaul bringing it back to its former glory. This healthcheck sets my service apart from all other retailers in the UK. I believe this service to be unique and am extremely proud to offer it to every customer if they wish to take advantage.
