20% of your estimated sale value on receipt of guitar *
This helps cover time and cost involved in setting up guitar, photography and publishing your guitar to our retail site, forum and mailing list subscribers.
10% of actual sale value on completion of sale
*If you would rather pay this 20% on completion of sale we are happy for you to do so but please remember that if you collect the guitar before the guitar is sold this service charge will need to be paid before taking the guitar away.

If your guitar does not sell you now have:
* A nicely set up guitar in saleable condition
* A clearer idea of the market value of your guitar
And there is one final thing we can do for you - at no extra charge:
We have a mailing list of over 4000 subscribers who are current (ask for details) and waiting for latest news and offers available at Richards Guitars. We will send an email with a link to our catalogue stating that you are now selling the guitar privately and at your discretion we will provide them your contact details so they can make you an offer. Whether you accept the offers that come through is up to you!
Regrettably, due to the quality of instruments we supply and are reputed (and work involved in representing your guitar in a professional way) for we can only provide this service to instruments whose second hand value are estimated at £300 or more.

Customer "owes" Richards Guitars 20% (£60) which can be paid up front or when guitar is sold or collected prior to sale.
Guitar eventually sells for £280

Quality Control & Setup (worth £55) Your guitar will be meticulously setup to the very highest of standards - even to your personal specification if you have one. This only occurs once the guitar has been inspected visually for any cosmetic flaws that occur in production instruments. Nobody in the industry cares more about the quality and playability of their guitars - guaranteed. 6 Month & 12 Month Checkup/Reset (worth £25 a visit) Every day my workshop is responsible for checking guitars that have been brought back for their 6 and 12 month checks. During this process my technicians will check the setup, make any adjustments necessary and give the guitar a general overhaul bringing it back to its former glory. This healthcheck sets my service apart from all other retailers in the UK. I believe this service to be unique and am extremely proud to offer it to every customer if they wish to take advantage. |
