This guitar is new in for 2009 yet I am sure has all the hallmarks of a modern "retro" classic. It feels like a guitar from years gone by - it really does feel like a Vintage guitar.

For those about to rock…we give you the Richmond Belmont.

The Belmont packs a full gamut of classic rock muscle into its incredibly resonant solid mahogany body. This 24 ¾” scale axe is powered by two single coil Lipstick pickups, along with the vintage bite of a Seymour Duncan ’59 humbucker in the bridge. All of which is controlled by a 5-way selector switch and separate volume and tone knobs.

The Belmont’s bolt-on mahogany neck features the worn in feel of an Ergocut rosewood fingerboard for an incredibly comfortable playing experience. The Belmont is finished off with high-ratio tuning machines, a chrome roller bridge with fixed tailpiece, a Nordic white pickguard and truss rod cover.

With its stunning vintage good looks and cool retro styling, the Richmond Dorchester will definitely turn heads. But the best part…it sounds even better than it looks!

This Tone Giant features a 25 ½” scale, two classic sounding Lace Alumitone humbucker pickups, housed in a double cutaway chambered body with a silver leaf maple center and poplar wings. The pickups are controlled by separate volume and tone knobs, along with a 4-way switch that allows you to select between various tantalizing sounds, including the first position which enables the neck & bridge to be in-series, giving the player a fatter tone and more output.

The Dorchester’s bolt-on rock maple neck features the worn in feel of an Ergocut rosewood or maple fingerboard for an incredibly comfortable playing experience. This beauty is finished off with high-ratio tuning machines, a chrome roller bridge with fixed tailpiece, a Nordic white extended pickguard and truss rod cover with matching binding on the back.

When you buy a guitar from Richards guitars the first thing to take into account is that I (Richard) overseas the entire process beginning to end. The only aspect not handled by myself is the setup itself. I even personally pack the guitar after I have tested the guitar post setup.

Quality Control & Setup (worth £55)

Your guitar will be meticulously setup to the very highest of standards - even to your personal specification if you have one. This only occurs once the guitar has been inspected visually for any cosmetic flaws that occur in production instruments. Nobody in the industry cares more about the quality and playability of their guitars - guaranteed.

6 Month & 12 Month Checkup/Reset (worth £25 a visit)

Every day my workshop is responsible for checking guitars that have been brought back for their 6 and 12 month checks. During this process my technicians will check the setup, make any adjustments necessary and give the guitar a general overhaul bringing it back to its former glory. This healthcheck sets my service apart from all other retailers in the UK. I believe this service to be unique and am extremely proud to offer it to every customer if they wish to take advantage.
