Millenium Series

If you have been following my recommendations over the past 13 years you will know that I believe Stonebridge represent the finest acoustic guitars in the World. Tonally, I have never heard an acoustic instrument that can mirror the clarity, depth and bell like tone that resonates from the body of a Stonebridge. The most commonly recommended instruments tend to focus around the 22CM & 23CR. Bluegrass Series

The Bluegrass range are all out Vintage. However these instrument don't just fain a Vintage vibe - they are as close to a Vintage instrument as you will ever hear without paying thousands for a pre War classic Martin.

The secret behind the Bluegrass tone lies in the "aging" process which organically changes the wood in structure and composition to resemble an 80-year-old piece of wood. The wood is exposed to enzymes and micro-organisms that eat away everything from the wood that would decay naturally over time. What you are left with is anon-hydro scopic piece of wood that is completely dry and much lighter. It is open and light and produces a tone that is closeto that of a vintage instrument.

Durango Series

Words cannot do justice to the outrageous nature of these acoustic guitars. Stonebridge (Furch) literally threw away the rulebook when they decided on how much fun you can have with a £500 guitar! Utilising a combination of what we believe may be a high pressure laminating technique on the back and sides with a bowed back which gives wonderful projection and additional strength (so much so that the need for internal bracing is eradicated which further improves resonance), they share the tonal properties of an all solid acoustic - and not just ANY acoustic - A Stonebridge acoustic!

When you buy a guitar from Richards guitars the first thing to take into account is that I (Richard) overseas the entire process beginning to end. The only aspect not handled by myself is the setup itself. I even personally pack the guitar after I have tested the guitar post setup.

Quality Control & Setup (worth £55)

Your guitar will be meticulously setup to the very highest of standards - even to your personal specification if you have one. This only occurs once the guitar has been inspected visually for any cosmetic flaws that occur in production instruments. Nobody in the industry cares more about the quality and playability of their guitars - guaranteed.

6 Month & 12 Month Checkup/Reset (worth £25 a visit)

Every day my workshop is responsible for checking guitars that have been brought back for their 6 and 12 month checks. During this process my technicians will check the setup, make any adjustments necessary and give the guitar a general overhaul bringing it back to its former glory. This healthcheck sets my service apart from all other retailers in the UK. I believe this service to be unique and am extremely proud to offer it to every customer if they wish to take advantage.
