You may know of me as the owner of Regent Guitars which started up in 1995 with just 6 guitars. Within about 6 years we were selling 40 guitars every week - all hand finished with customer care as our primary focus.
Richards Guitars now operates from the same building, same telephone number and even the same Tech (Chaz Gordon) ....and me of course!
In the final few years I was blighted with illl health caused by balancing my desire to provide first class service and employing staff who can live up to my personal expectations.
My hard earnt reputation meant that we would sell an average of 8-10 guitars every day but this level of output was impossible to maintain AND live up to the standards I personally wanted to achieve.
For this reason I now only deal with customers who require/appreciate what I believe to be a unique style of service and the products I have a genuine passion for. All the guitars I supply are of quality and distinction and the service I aim to provide could accurately be described as "fanatical"!

I am very proud that even in the closing of Regent Guitars I continued to help anyone who may have been adversely effected.
