The elixir of youth

I have word from a very good source that the secret to a certain band's longevity is... regular blood transfusions. Obviously The Beatles didn't have them.

I’ve never had a blood transfusion. Does that mean I shouldn’t embark on a post-retirement music career and expect success?

I think it's more probable that they are presenting a persona but taking the steps to live long and healthy.
The skinny vocalist is known to undertake a fitness regime prior to and during a tour, and he should know what it is likely to entail after all this time. I would mark it down as professionalism. Despite the extreem wealth and comfort they can afford themselves, a world tour has finished plenty of bands less than half thier age. Preparation does seem to be the key.
